It is a popular way to explore the country and see its unique landscapes, including glaciers, hot springs, waterfalls, and volcanic valleys. Day 1: Reykjavik to Vík

Start your Iceland Ring Road journey in the country’s capital city, Reykjavik. From there, drive southeast to the coastal town of Vík.
